Karen joined Tern in 2018 as Finance Director. She became Zinc Group Financial Controller in 2025 looking after financial reporting, treasury management, payroll and transaction processing for all group companies including Tern. She is also responsible for Tern’s operational management and works closely with David to look after the day to day running of the business.
She had a varied career prior to joining Tern, working with entrepreneurial and high growth businesses both in industry and in professional practice and her previous role was FD to a well-known Scottish software company.
