Ronan is an award-winning Development Producer at Tern TV in Glasgow, responsible for generating the next big entertainment format to follow the success of The Inner Circle (BBC One). No pressure.
After cutting his teeth at Hungry Bear Media over seven years ago, he has since played a key role in three multi-commission winning development teams across factual-entertainment, reality, and documentary. His development 'greatest hits' include two series of Will & Ralf Should Know Better (U&Dave), Our Big Day (Paramount+), Martin Compston's Scottish Fling (BBC Two), Titanic: Our Secret Histories (Channel 4), and Wild Weekends (BBC Three).
Outside of his development roles, prior to rejoining Tern, Ronan worked his way up to Producer at BBC Studios on his favourite childhood show, Dragons' Den. Other production credits include Lawrence Chaney's Homecoming Queens (BBC Scotland), Tool Club (C4), and If These Wall Could Talk (BBC NI).
When he’s not coming up with TV formats, Ronan can be found on the badminton court or hiding on the Isle of Islay in front of a fire where his phone signal can't reach, eating any food in sight.
